Dear gymnasts and parents,
We would like to extend a warm welcome to PIROUETTE RG CLUB to all new gymnasts and their families and say welcome back to our returning gymnasts. We are so pleased to have you as part of our club for the 2008/2009 season. We hope that everyone had a good summer and enjoyed the warm weather. We are very excited about the upcoming season and are looking forward to seeing all of your smiling faces soon. Below we have provided some information about the upcoming season to help get everyone off to a good start. We hope that you will find the information helpful. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Eva at (613) 836-6331 for clarification.

2009-2010 Season Program
The Pirouette coaches, Eva, Regina and Amy have prepared an exciting training plan for the 2009/2010 season. They can't wait to work with each of you to develop and enhance your rhythmic gymnastics skills. And of course, there will be an emphasis on having FUN!

Classes will be held on Wednesdays at Pierre Elliott Trudeau School located at 601 Longfields Drive in the Barrhaven . The first semester of your program starts the week of September 17, 2009.

Dress Code
Pirouette RG Club has worked with a local company, SixO Activewear, to design an official club bodysuit for the recreational program. The club bodysuit is required for all recreational gymnasts. The girls should wear their club bodysuit for training and all other club events such as the Gymnaestradas. The body suits can be ordered at the Open House September 10th. Returning gymnasts are welcome to bring their last year bodysuits for trading.

The gymnasts will also need gymnastics or ballet slippers or toe-shoes. These can be found in most department stores such as Wal-Mart or you can visit a shoe store such as Kiddie Cobbler. Specialty stores such as Brio or Malabar will also carry the slippers.

The girls should come to class with their hair secured neatly off of their face. For girls with long hair, a ponytail, bun, or braid is recommended.

If you were unable to attend the open house and have not yet registered, please contact Eva at (613) 836-6331 to register over the phone and secure a place on the class list. Classes are filling quickly and we restrict the class size to ensure an acceptable coach to gymnast ratio is maintained.

Additional Information
The Pirouette RG Club Handbook will be available at the first class, September 21th . It will outline all of the club activities and events including fundraising activities, gymnaestradas, Prism testing, and more. You can also refer to the web site at www.ottawapirouetterg.org .
